Something blew and stopped all my wall sockets from working so had to unplug and turn everything off then plug things back in one at a time before locating the culprit, a dodgy six way. Then it was time to watch a match so there goes today’s studio time apart from a brief tinker on the analog four at lunch. It has some very effective filters.

Played with Afterneath (Euro version). Putting filters/other effects in the feedback path makes it at least 4.1 times cooler than the pedal.

(...but mostly I played Yars Recharged and Diablo 3.)

Upgraded to Phoscyon 2 and had a good old play with it, even though I have a TD-303 it’s got some very nice randomisation features, can do arps and also has a MIDI out option. Used it to add some bleeps on that Flaming Lips cover I'm still working on.

Found the big problem with releasing tracks ‘properly’ to streaming services. If the original track’s too quiet there’s f**k all can be done about it. I may just ramp the volume up 9 Db and call the new track the “Audible Mix”.
