It was a Schroeder Reverberator then.

I also just found a good simple free one [vst2] alternative to roboverb for my bud's laptop since his Virtual DJ does not support vst 3 so cannot use the roboverb on his laptop:

There are so many plugins now that sometimes I find it hard to think of even just all of the better ones I have for a certain task - yesterday I somehow was reminded of Surreal Machines Diffuse, which I think does quite a good job at doing what this thread is about...

Thanks but just when I thought I had these effects situation settled you go and this!
Now the bug is in me to go try this out, at first glance from the video maybe it might do what both the BBD delay and Roboverb does so I can use just one plugin?

As for right now trying this out, I like that you can use the Regen to move easily between reverb and delay and the tone is good. Can I trouble you try just one thing for me please?
Looking at this setting here, I need the snare beat to repeat as many times as possible, would you be able to tell me exactly which settings will give this? This is basically what I have been seeking overall to get the robotic reverb of the 303 "together" with the long snare repeats of BBD Delay. I currently have this by triggering both fx's together but if Surreal can do both with one setting then I can use it.

looks like regen is the feedback control here
repeat = time (ms)
repeat = time (ms)

Did you try changing the topology ("Repeat Pattern")? "Phasor" sounds a 'lil comb-filterish to me, which should enhance the "roboticness"...

Sorry I don't know what you mean by that, can you screenshot it for me please?

Pull-down menu right below the input control, left side of the GUI (where it says "Ping Pong" in your screenshot)

Of course you don't - that whole list is a list of different "Repeat Pattern[ s]" which you can switch between - and I suggested to try the one that is called "Phasor" - I really have to ask you to read properly what others write henceforth, as it really isn't so much fun like that... (a quick glimpse at the manual should get you sorted too, of course)
