Seems like everything Q2 does can be done in Pigments.

To me Quanta is the best sounding granular synth (and yes I have Novum too)
But sounds so much nicer in Quanta *(ymmv, tastes differ)

$70 upgrade. I don't really use it so I'm not going to bother upgrading.

Wonder if the upgrade price will be reduced by 50% for BF. If so I'll seriously consider it. Otherwise I'm pretty sure that if I decide I really want yet another granular synth I'd rather get Novum or Pharlight.

Might be worth a punt at 35 bucks alright.

Grain Pitch quantization is pure joy and a great addition, a powerful way to create more ''musical'' grainscapes and less atonal/dissonant sounds, if that makes sense. Probably the coolest feature of this update I would say.

Next is the new very quick modulation right-click feature, much quicker & less cumbersome than the old matrix page.

BUT... Really really not sure these worth the $59 upgrade price. Definitely an upgrade tag price that I would qualify as deluxe.

I don't know, all I know is that the upgrade code gives a discount of -$70.00 for a price tag of USD $59 for Quanta 2, for the V1 owners. I'm still on the V2 demo.

It will be on sale again soon enough, it’s a synth (V2) I would pay 50 bucks for max…I also have Novum and it has removed GAS for now…
