First of all, I will confess the last version of Logic I bought was 9, so things have changed a lot since then, but two things stuck out for me -DrGonzo wrote: Sat Aug 27, 2022 3:57 amWhy do you think that is? I'm in the same boat, never been able to gel with Logic despite several attempts. But with Cubase, even after a ten+ year absence being on Live, I pick up things very quickly.tehlord wrote: Fri Aug 26, 2022 2:14 pm Could never get on with Logic. It seems similar to Cubase, but in reality it's not. I want to like it, but meh.
1) The browser was effing horrendous. It 'felt' like just getting stuff into Logic was a chore. Saying that, the same could be said of Cubase a couple of itterations ago.
2) The snap function was just broken, and this for me was the main issue I had. It was at the time, completely unpredictable and meant I had to wrestle with most midi parts, whether played in live or clicked in manually.
On top of that, I found simple things like adding plugins less intuitive, in the same way that the Live arrange page is less intuitive than the Cubase one. That of course is just subjective preference, but important to creative workflow.
