That's why I specified v3...
Also, hearing your track almost made skip this month's submission again. That one is a total winner for me. But I figure it's about the challenge, not about winning.

Alrighty, before I miss that one, too, I've just jammed a little into my first attempt and rounded it off a bit...

I honestly love this little thing! I had a really, really nice time programming all the sounds and jamming around with them. I've made a few more sketches in Cubase, too, sporting totally different sounds that were also pretty darn interesting, but somehow I really liked this track and feel awkward to do an OSC track with anything other than Mulab, hehe. "My Precious"!

I also made different projects with the V-Station but never finished anything - like this one below :hihi:

Almost stunning to me how you manage to create total mayhem and chaos with like 6 sounds, haha. :hail:
You certainly take "off beat" to the next level. I think, though, if you could somehow combine or alternate between moments of easy orientation and segues of descending into your innate chaos, how much this would take your entire tracks to the next level. Also, I wonder if this is your relaxed way of creating a track or if you have to put some greater effort into ensuring the seeming madness?! :hihi: ...definitely impressive to me, though. Makes me almost want to do a collab with you, see how this somehow could be "cultivated" in some way, because I always want to enjoy this stuff more than I physically can, if you forgive my inability to explain myself better. Pfffff, how to say this, like there's a very clear emotion inside of me that wants to literally love what you're doing, but it just so quickly becomes too much for my emotions to hang on to?! Grrrrr... it's a compliment, I swear, like a much, much deeper compliment than it can read. I believe you're awesomeness is like a wicked root network that goes nuts under the earth and the whole garden keeps yelling at you to finally come up!

Hey, Taron and Yadrichik Chaya, both of your tracks sound monolithically and complete! I feel awkward when what you both call a "demo" is better than many tracks I've heard)

Post

I did write out a few bars of MIDI and was hoping I could arrange them into something sensible, but no, that's not the skill I need to be learning right now. I'll probably finish that (in V-Station) some other time.

But V-Station is kind of fun, anyway, so there's that consolation.

https://soundcloud.com/g-jardine/rushes ... al_sharing

1x V-Station

Cakewalk by Bandlab (it is possible that this is the pre-June 2022 edition, even though I tried to upgrade)
Stock Plugins:
1 x the Pro Channel Equalizer
1 x Sonitus Compressor
1 x Sonitus Reverb

Also:
Airwindows Cliponly2 (necessity)

Possibly: Distortion due to Cakewalk + V-Station Bugginess, but

Strangely, even the .wav that I managed to save here, which opened in Audacity, could not open in media player.

People who are just posting tracks but not entering. That's fine but I didn't listen. I just wait till the 1st and listen to all the entries (many times). You might as well just enter? It's a load of subjective bullshit anyway.

Hey IV!
I have entered my track, even if it is nothing properly worked out with plenty of pure jamming in it. I've really enjoyed the sound of V-Station and know I could've come up with something far more sophisticated, but I still loved making this little ditty properly! :phones:

THANK YOU, though, of course!
