Doing my rituals required (sometimes) to get geared up to create.
Started with a walk in the woods.
Did some stretches and breathing exercises.
Talked to my pet wabbit, Jumposaurus Rex, to see if he had any ideas.
Almost there.....
Powering up..........
Lift off.............

I was awaiting goat sacrifice. Happy no animals were hurt.

15 random minutes of the banjo sound on the Variax. I'm sure the neighbours f**king love it.

Do you have a rocking chair and a porch? They'd love that even more.donkey tugger wrote: Sat Sep 03, 2022 8:06 am 15 random minutes of the banjo sound on the Variax. I'm sure the neighbours f**king love it.
Today's plan is to get back to the track I was working on a week ago without getting literally sidetracked.

Got 2 new tunes down in the last 48 hours.
Very happy...
I think both will make it onto the next CD

Ordered parts to build a bunch of modules. Luckily I have all the through hole TL072/TL074s and most of the resistors I need on hand.
Next, I’ll be writing VO lines for a video project.
Eventually I have to get around to some book keeping… but that can wait.

Tracked some lead guitar and lap steel on a reggae song.
Also rewired a cable to access presets on Strymon pedals, finally figured out how to get that working with my M Audio Axiom Pro and my old Line 6 Pod HD 500, without buying Strymon’s midi to TRS cable.

Another tune complete.
Its been a very creative time but indeed, hard work and little sleep.

Not been in a making music mood this week so just lots of bits and pieces tinkering.
I had tried to do song track chaining in HY-SEQ32 before, but not had any joy, but finally got it working and it’s pretty good. Not quite enough bars to sequence a full track start to finish without looping though.

Spent about 5 hours struggling, have crap to show for it. I feel like I had two or three parts that worked, but they worked against each other. Maybe it was a learning experience, maybe just a bad starting point that I followed for too long.

Upgraded my Prophet Rev2 from 8 to 16 voices. Failed.
Took it apart again to reseat the expansion board. Succeeded, but realized I forgot to reinsert a screw.
