Not at all, at some point majority can agree that certain user interfaces are just plain ugly and barely usable. Not everything is subjective, otherwise there would be no point in discussing anything at all.

It is a nice usable GUI IMO but, yeah, that red is pretty intense, especially in low light levels, maybe at night with a dark DAW colour scheme, rather painful.
