I have just discovered, on the bfddrums.com forum, the procedure to keep the BFD2 library working after transferring the FXpansion account to inMusic account.

I feel relieved.

Ask Drew if he ever regrets selling FXP. Thanks!
Edit : my mistake. Angus was the owner /founder of FXP, not Drew. Please ignore the post.

He really should. InMusic are an utter s**tshow of a company, don't even answer emails.
I would advise anyone who wants to keep their sanity to forget all about BFD and try something else. I used to love this software too

Sure he's laughing all the way to the bank. That's not even a criticism either, just an observation . Sold the company for a wedge and now works in a new job. Result!Mr Arkadin wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:56 amHe really should. InMusic are an utter s**tshow of a company, don't even answer emails.

Yes, this is the name of the game: in reality the company and its owners don't care a shit about their clientele.revvy wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 10:23 amSure he's laughing all the way to the bankMr Arkadin wrote: Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:56 amHe really should. Clients are just objects for the money creating - just shake your money maker.
We customers have to understand that.
If the developer sells/abandons the company/product, all your investments based on that product may be waisted.
Typical example was the emagic Logic deal with the Apple for some time ago. As a PC user I had built up my whole studio around the Logic DAW.
The change to an other DAW costed me a lot of money.
And the emagic was laughing all the way to the bank.
All what is stable is the change - be prepared...
P. s. I own the BFD + 15 expansions. Haven't migrated.

Drew wasn’t the owner/founder of Fxpansion, that was Angus. Fxpansion was sold to Roli, where BFD languished completely. Roli sold BFD as a brand to InMusic, where Drew continues to be the product manager and BFD is getting updated again and has a future.

When I wrote that it I should have checked between my Drews and my Anguses. It's Angus now at IL right?
Apologies Drew. Clearly I was referring to the owner/founder of FXP, not as it turns out yourself.

Hi Drew,
I am also a BFD1 and BFD2 owner would would like to get hold of the Eldorado and London Sessions, as I can't access my original BFD1 and BFD2 kits in BFD3. I also have the BFD XFL, Deluxe, Percussion and JM Essentials Vol. 1 kits that I cannot access in BFD3.
I have only just found this forum and can't work out how to PM you.
Regards,
Roger

I already had an inMusic account.
I tried the migration as described in the fxpansion Mails. I get a mail from fxpansion and follow the link. Then I get to BFD MIGRATION page where I have to check a checkbox and then I have to hit SEND.
Anytime I hit the SEND button I get this error message "Unable to complete this request due to an error. Error has been logged."
I already tried it in several browsers on different computers (Mac and PC), but I always get the same error message.
Could you please help me to finally migrate my BFD drums!
Thanks,
Florian Goebels
I just sent you a PM.
Cheers,
Drew
I'm having the same problem as Florian. Mail-support sadly didn't reply yet. Maybe you can help me out, too. I'm so looking forward to the update for Big Sur. So great to see you up and running again.
And I'm one of the BFD1 and 2 owners, too. So any news on Eldorado and London Sessions?
Thanks
Jan
