It is only the driver which presents a new system audio device for Systemwide. Insignificant.

Izotope went back on their plans to update Exponential Audio Nimbus and R4 for Apple Silicon.

When I asked Izotope support a few months ago, they said they would update Nimbus and R4 by end of summer, but I just contacted support for an update, and they said they don’t have plans to update them anymore.

Auburn Sounds is due to release/announce Lens tomorrow.

However, it is on the site now and can be bought/downloaded.

Lens is a multi-band compander and automatic equaliser.

LENS is available as a VST2.4 / VST3 / Audio Unit / AAX / LV2 plug-in for macOS, Linux and Windows. FULL version is priced $105, but is available at $49.35 until 20th September 2022. Also has a free version.

Version 1.0 is Apple silicon native off the bat.

Some AUv3 MIDI FX that are M1 compatible:

ChordPolyPad
https://dev.laurentcolson.com/chordpolypad.html

StepPolyArp
https://dev.laurentcolson.com/steppolyarp.html

QuantiChord
https://dev.laurentcolson.com/quantichord.html

I use the iPad versions of ChordPolyPad and StepPolyArp and they are both excellent.

And yes, as noted on the site AUv3 means Logic Pro only for now, though it looks like Live may be adopting the format soon as well.

Maybe it's time to give them up... might not be such a bad idea, since I'm looking to ditch everything iLok.
i emailed them a while back.. some time end of the year or early next year was their reply if my memory holds up. i posted the reply in this thread somewhere.. but it's many pages ago.
I emailed them a week ago and they answered that m1 and vst3 support would come "very soon".
