Audacity not recognising a USB input

I've been using a USB turntable (AudioTechnica AT-LP60-USB) to record from vinyl into Audacity for several years, but now after using a different USB device (an M-Audio M-Track Mixer) with a different DAW (Reason 10) one single time, neither my computer nor Audacity recognises the turntable input and instead labels it as the mixer, despite the mixer not being connected. As a result I can't set the input to the turntable in Audacity and so can't record. Does anyone know what might've caused this and how I can fix it?

Unplug all. Go into Device Manager, remove them all.

Cold reboot, then connect the device again.

Hi, sorry for the really late reply, but I'm struggling to find the devices in the Manager; they come up as 'Line 1/2 M-Audio M-Track' in the sound device menu but I can't find anything like that in the Device manager.

I currently have no Windows machine to test the exact click-path. Try this article perhaps?

Otherwise you need to make screenshots, then we might guide you through it.

That sounds like a recording device to me. Go to control panel, sounds, see what's your default recording device. Let the turntable play. Do you see any activity on the meters in control panel?

Uninstalling all audio drivers sounds a little extreme to me [maybe needs to be done..., but it's not the first thing I'd try].
Just try to make sure what the name of the recording device is.

For useful USB wranging, including uninstalling USB device drivers, try this
