Last night, I had a dream that the PPG plugins were back on Plugin Alliance, but when I woke up, I felt forlorn. I was hoping that they would be back on WaveGenerator's 10th anniversary, but nothing happened. The plugins were supposed to be updated by October 2020, but what is going on? Brainworx is a reputable developer, but even before their studio was flooded, they were working on the plugins at a snail's pace.

Many customers including me inquired them about the progress, and they were silent. I don't know why Wolfgang Palm decided to give the plugins to Brainworx instead of u-He or Waldorf. Why didn't he even make them open-source. I mean, how much money did he make selling the rights to Brainworx? Although I have not made too much music with the plugins, they have a nice, cold, alien sound not found in other softsynths.

WaveGenerator is so underrated because it is actually THE modern continuation of the old PPG synths, and it greatly expands upon the features by adding interpolation options, a noise generator with adjustable color, a third oscillator, FM, ring modulation, 4 LFOs with adjustable waveshapes, and a total of 13 loopable envelopes! You could also use two amplifiers with individual panning to make clever sounds! It's a shame that the PPG apps and plugins barely had any marketing, promotion, and sales. Also, the GUIs of the plugins turned many people off (WaveGenerator's is actually comprehensive. Just think of the digits as sliders).

Attached is a small bank I made for the desktop version of WaveGenerator using only the factory wavetables. Haven't made an iOS version yet. Hope you enjoy it!

In 2 more years we can expect a brand new email from Di*k looking badass standing next to an F1 car where he's making double devil's horns with his hands saying that all of the PPG plugins are released with an introductory offer of $49 each (regular price $899.99999). Then a couple years later they'll be giving them away for free in a new Introduction to Sound bundle after they join forces with Melda and DubTurbo.

Sorry, been on KVR too long it seems.

The PPG synths are innovative and unlike other synths. They have their quirks and not all positive. I would love to see them be re-released. WaveMapper 2 was my favorite... Phonem is really unique too...

I kinda gave up on them at this point.

Well, this music syndicate of theirs has a great record of given up products and AbandonWare (NI, iZotope) - B4, Absynth, Iris, BreakTweaker, Spektral Delay, Spectron, and others …

I've just changed computers and am wondering if I will be able to get them re-installed...seems I don't have the installers for Wavemapper or Phonem.

But then I remember how tricky it was to manage the saving of new presets so maybe it's not worth the frustration.

I'm glad I have the installers on Google Drive. I think my emails for the codes are still there.

Unfortunately I still think it doesn't work. I also have 2 out of the 3 installers and all the codes - but I guess the codes were being verified online and that no longer works. If you can get it working, let me know because I'll have another go at getting them to work on my new(er) PC.
