Yes. Assuming you already own it.

The buy process worked for me. I got it free.

Hoping they do a Model 15 wrapper soon also.

Yikes. They really need to update their FAQs then.

I never found a FAQ that answered my personal FAQ…

It may differ depending on what kind of Mac you have and your OS.

I’m on the latest OS 12 on M1. My Mac App Store treated Model D like it was already purchased and just needed to be redownloaded. I think this may be because of the unification of iOS and MacOS 12 on M1.

After I click Buy and log in, I don't get the free update box shown above, I get one that very much looks like it wants to charge me, despite owning the iOS version:

Did you guys who got it free see this dialog, clicked buy, and *then* got the "this update is free" alert?
Yes. I clicked buy then entered my password, then buy again, then in the end they said I already have it, so this update is free, but be sure you already have it. In my case I have the "purchased" button for the bundle (Moog Vintage Synthesizer Bundle) before getting it.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Ok, thanks, it'll probably be OK then. :tu:

Yes, I have that too...

On iOS it shows I have both:

Edit: Ok, after the second "Buy" dialog, I did indeed get the update free - so all good. Thanks for the advice!

How does this sound compared to other model d emulations in VST plugin land (I think we have like 4 good ones or something now)?

Post

Yes, it's after you click Buy in that box that you see the one in my screenshot above notifying you that it's free - assuming you've already got the iOS version!

Will definitely check this out. Free is always good. Thanks for posting info

I’ve compared it to NI Monark and Arturia Minimoog, using a base sound. To my ears, Monark has the richest sound and better envelopes, Moog‘s is fine, and Arturia‘s sounds thin.

I can think of:
Arturia
GForce
u-he
Native Instruments
Synapse Audio
Universal Audio
and now Moog
Yorgos Simeonidis

And Softube
