´ Top 3 of your fav vst devs´ also known as ´Post Every vst Dev’ thread.

Post

1/ DMG Audio for sure
2/ Melda ?
3/ Vengeance ?

Not sure about it, I never use the exact same setup, excepted my DMG plugins...

Honorable mention : EndeavorFX, use them all the time.

Post

Fabfilter
High end plugins with great support, low CPU usage, great user experience, easy to activate all plugins simultaneously.

ValhallaDSP
At $50 for reverb is more than affordable- it’s a steal. Awesome VintageVerb, Plate, Room reverbs. VintageVerb sounding better than LX480 was already discussed here viewtopic.php?t=426253&start=45

Klanghelm
SDRR and MJUC are nice saturation and compressor plugins and plugin author has really great copy protection policy.
Monitors: HS7 / Mixing: Cubase Pro 13 / Mastering: WaveLab Pro 11.2 / Sound Design: Live 12 Suite

Really surprised not to be seeing more Fabfilter! I don't think a single track in my sessions gets by without an instance or two of Pro-Q3. That alone has to put them up there for me!

Just in terms of versatility and raw frequency of use, I think I'd have to say:

Fabfilter
Soundtoys
U-He (honourable mention to xfer for Serum alone)

Well, Fabfilter ProQ is without any doubt a good eq, nevertheless a surgical clean eq could easily be replaced by your stock eq, I even use ReaEq more than FF and for ms or / and dynamic eq one could use free TDR Nova. And quite often you will read that FF prices do not appeal to everyone.

Just going by products they offer and If I am being honest and not holding grudges or playing favorites (meaning just because I like the people),nothing like that I would say....

Spectrasonics, Tone 2 and ReFX - but man there are so many others and just want to stick to the rules of 3.

I share the same sentiment of wanting to support the no-nonsense small developers, u-he, Valhalla, klanghelm, Tokyo dawn.

But I have to say Arturia's recent offerings are damn fine.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

From a sound perspective, absolutely! But workflow-wise, it's been a tough sell for me to go back to anything else since Pro-Q entered my arsenal (though I actually did start using ReaEq again the other day for HP/LP due to its ability to embed in the MCP--the one thing Pro-Q is missing!).

Very true on pricing. It took me a loooong time to finally bite that bullet haha

U-He, their awesome sounding synths with hundreds of quality presets
Waves, OmniChannel is my standard compressor and saturator. A few others are used, too.
TBTECH, KirchhoffEQ, sounds great, does so many things
Valhalla, awesome sounding, versatile Revs and Delays
Surge, PhasePlant, Helix, SD3, ... Hard to draw a line. But all these are frequently used here.
ABX is enemy to GAS
