I just got it today (thanks Quincy)

but it doesn't seem to show up as a rewire device in Tracktion. I have rebooted just in case it's that. Is there something else I need to do to make it show up?

is rewire enabled in settings for tracktion?

then choose the track in tracktion by attaching the audio icon to it,,,then drop the filter on it,,choose rewire,,on the bottom menu choose device...orion,,,,,,

I know that - it's not showing up in the devices list.

check that rewire.dll is in system32 folder,,if not,,copy it over,,,

Done that already.

There is an orionrewire.dll file in the Synapse folder - does that need to be in system32 as well perhaps?

Do you have all the necessary files? People have reported that after installing eg. Reason demo Rewire starts working.

I don't have that,,mate,,check that ReWire.dll is also in system folder,,also if theres a rewire.dll without the caps,,delete it or just move it to temp.

Does the Reason demo work in rewire mode - maybe I could use that to test it out a least.

Are there any other demo's where the rewire works to test settings with - I need to know if the problem is with Tracktion or Orion.

yes but sometimes it has an older rewire.dll that screws the newer version,,in system and system32 it should be version 1.4.7.74 and be ReWire.dll

Solution: Start up Tracktion. Add a Rewire filter to a track. Select Orion from the device list. Click on the Launch Editor button.

I tried launching it the way I launch Reason, and that didn't work. Then I tried doing it the way I said, and Orion started up Rewired.

Problem using Orion Platinum as rewire slave
