Thorn, Largo, are uninstalled because I just have too many synths, I do like them but I like to cut the number of options.

Reaktor is also uninstalled because I haven't had time to delve into blocks, but I want to.

It might sound weird but... my whole Fabfilter bundle (I have nearly everything excepted the de-esser and the synth).
Simply because I think I have better choices for every single one : my DMG Audio stuff mainly.
But the day I’m in trouble with my DMG plugins for any reason, I’ll need the Fabfilter plugins to replace them quickly, can’t work with nothing at all.

There are other plugins I keep for the same reason : double, for security purposes. You never know when a plugin stops working for no reason (DAW update, Windows update, licence update, server not responding...)

Just tried pigments and it takes 2 seconds. How long are others waiting for pigments?

has become slightly faster with around v3.7.1.x - it's around 7 seconds for me
(logic, mojave, old mac mini 2012 i7)
used to be terrible slow as with around v3.1 or 3.2 or so, iirc something over 12 or 17 seconds

I loved some McDSP stuff, but I'm sometimes out of internet and they were the only plugins that required connection all the time, so basically useless then.. I'm not going to rely on something I might not be able to use.

Screw all those autorizations, they could get over that arleady...

My interests change - things that were used are no longer interesting because I dont make the same music anymore.
Better plugins replace them - sometimes this is the interface / working method more than the sound
Too much hassle for the reward - I could rephrase this as I never figured out how to use them to best advantage.
No demo and the devs were incredibly misleading (or fanboys on sites like vi-control exaggerated beyond belief) - sample libraries are a killer for this
and the classics, seemed like a good idea at the time, what a bargain!

Anyway, I buy stuff because it's cheap and I might use it, even though I don't. e.g. I bought the Arturia collection when it was cheap last year but I have never even looked at the synths I installed (only installed about half of it). Or I'll use something once and then have to keep it around so I can play that song again, although mostly I end up replacing it with something else.

I also keep a lot of stuff because my bandmate might use it and I'll need that project to load properly so I can work on it. In fact, if I was working solo, I'd be ruthless and probably only have 20-30 plugins installed but I actually have more than 300, just in case he uses something and I need it.

Thorn never gets used. Why didn't the developer just add an option to select which oscillators go to the harmonic filter, plus an option to for oscillators to bypass the filters? Or an amount control for the harmonic filter. A few more routing/parameter options would turn what's already there into gold.

MJUC, despite it's quality never gets used, since SDRR is so good for saturation and I prefer other plugins for compression.

I heavily used to use V5(Duende), but V6 is not for me.

Today I found out that I have quite a lot of Softube I never use
Drawmer 73 / better alternatives
Some delay / I just don't like it
Tape / never got very satisfactory results
Amp room / don't like gui and amps, but nice fx
British console / always prefered other plugins, could re-sell it
Marshall Bluesbeaker sim / can't tell why I bought it, but was only 19 USD?!
