This video...

And this track...
Those sound awesome, especially the video, :phones: Suddenly, I think I need a Pulsar-23 sitting next to my Elektrons…
but I think it would be a mistake to get a Pulsar for sounds you could get with an Elektron box.
….and you talked me down off the ledge and saved me $2K. :hihi:

OLED screen. That's everything I wanted.
Smart to buy now too:
To reflect the cost and development associated with the new screen and the rising manufacturing costs in the synth industry, we’ll be raising the price of the Deluge incrementally over the next 12 months.

Sept 9th, 2022: $1249USD + shipping

From Jan 1, 2023: $1329USD+shipping

From April 1, 2023: $1399USD + shipping

Sweet. What are the chances used prices on old ones will suddenly plummet?

Might not plummet… they’re offering options to retrofit the original ones.

I didn’t read the whole page to see the final price, but it’s a $50 deposit.

The retro fit price is the difference between the original and new version cost. Pretty fair business practice.

I love my Deluge, I don’t feel the need for a screen though.

Do you mix OTB with it or do you record the parts as stems?

It's only stereo out, I record each track solo, real-time into my DAW, muting everything else. Low-budget/old school

Glad we’re having this discussion. GAS averted!

I’m confused at someone saying they are looking forward to an OLED display as I also read on here they commonly fail after a couple of years. It’s almost as though there’s not a consensus.

And another one announced plans for closure…

Hexinverter is out sometime later next year.
Today we are announcing our intent to close down operations within the next year. I do not have an exact “end date” to share just yet, but I can tell you that it will probably be sometime in 2023.
They’re making some Mutant Brains available, but Mindphaser is no more.
There will be no more Mindphaser complex oscillators produced.
Parts have been unobtanium for them since the first run was in progress. If you got one of the 250 units shipped from the first batch, consider yourself lucky!

damn :(

That’s a real shame, guessing there’ll be a lot more closures if they’re having trouble sourcing parts
