The Grid in combination with Phase-4. If that's not enough I'll add F'em. DX7 emulations are from the past... I love their envelopes though...

Korg OPsix native. It runs great on Mac without any graphic glitches. It also consumes less cpu.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

For me I really want a plugin that allows arbitrary routing between operators through a matrix or similar. A lot of modern synth sounds (e.g. dubstep basses) need flexibility beyond the stock layouts/algorithms from the original DX series. On the other hand I don't want to have a bunch of clicks to route one operator into another like wiring up a modular synth - a matrix is really the sweet spot for me in terms of connecting the operators and visualising how they're connected.

So basically F'em and Opsix (and reluctantly FM8, which feels like it's probably going away soon so I want to limit using it).

Supercollider when I’m in an ‘ only text and code mode ‘ :)
Ops7 for authentic yamaha style fm , it just sounds glorious .
Tranzistow for everyrhing FM and beyond , love the spectral skirt stuff .
I also made a ton of fm patches with zebra , since one osc set to dx is essentially a 2 operator config with ratio 1:1 ,combined with the real Fm operators things can get pretty wild .
My 3 weapons of choice for fm ( and almost everything else ).
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Blue 2’s my go-to as well, though I do still hit up DX-7 V, Nemesis and even FM8 from time to time.

I bought it during the sale, but haven’t dug into it yet. I’m just about done with my current project so hopefully I’ll have a chance to put it though it’s paces soon.

OPS7 and I have started using F-em...

FM8 is still around because it's a gem and it sounds great, but OPS7 leaves it for dead in the attitude department 🌞
No auto tune...

Baervaag FM is quite simple, but its well designed, fun to use, and can produce a lot of variety.
