I think they should separate their emulations and their augmented thingies

Normally I would update for $49, I felt a tad cheated though as I already got the SQ-80 for $49 and the only really new synth was the MS-20 and I'm just not interested in their augmented stuff

I'd suggest one further & suggest separating keys such as pianos, organs etc. & synths. I used to own V8 & given the sort of music I do rarely (if ever) used them. So maybe:

"V-Synths"
"V-Keys"
"Augmented Keys"

Users could benefit from a reduced price for the instruments they actually want & for those that want everything then perhaps a 'bundle' discount could be offered that puts the price similar to what the full V-Collection is now.

Or perhaps a system similar to what reFX do with Nexus - buy an individual instrument & each subsequent one (in the same order) is discounted (I don't use Nexus but understand this to be what they do).

There's perhaps a good business/marketing reason why they don't do this but I reckon that more people might buy-in to their instruments. The current package is excellent value if you want/use everything (especially when looking at the price of each instrument if bought on its own), but not so good if you only use half of it.

More likely Native will start selling a sample library of classic Absynth sounds.

Would suit me fine, I have not even installed the keys. I got V Collection 8 on sale for $250 and thought the synths was more than enough value

FWIW I think Arturia would be smart to update some of the older analog emulations and maybe expand on them. I think CS-80v was mentioned as a candidate for a redesign, for example.

Sure, nobody really needs a CS-50 or 60 once they get CS-80v up to current standards. But the non-programmable CS monosynths (5, 10, 15,30) were different, and the CS-20m/40m/70m were a different architecture desipte some parts in common.

They could probably do something like U-He did with the Repro's and offer a Yamaha CS package. I doubt every CS model is worth doing, but some definitely are, and a lot of these synths have gotten destroyed in the hardware world as parts sources for CS-80s. Maybe the 15 for the Human League and Vincent Clarke connection and the 40m for Duran Duran and Ultravox?

They could also do that old Mirage sampler. The lofi crowd would scream. Or some of the early 8/12 bit drum machines with accurate aliasing when pitching down and with sample loading, (without ridiculous short time restriction).

They could also open up Analog Lab for other VST3 synths, kinda like Waves just did with StudioRack.

In the digital world a Casio VZ10 that you actually can program yourself would be pretty cool.
The OSCar would probably be a given hit.
Technics SX-WSA would get my eyebrows to move up one inch.

Perhaps the Emu Proteus romplers can be licensed. How many did they put out, a dozen+? That'll keep Arturia going until v14

Arturia won't be able to match imposcar 2 imo. They should generally stay away from any emulations done by GForce, u-he, softube, Tal or synapse. They just won't be as authentic in comparison.
