The GUI of the SplitEQ 2 is quite similar to the Surreal Machines stuff...

god that is just awful - instead buy this on special and use whatever effects you want https://www.molecularbytes.com/mbcms/in ... ctransientjamcat wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 2:50 am This might be the worst product demonstration video ever.
Can't say I'm super stoked about this one.
Honestly, I have no idea why I would want to do any of that to my tracks.

The crossgrade price for Physion owners is $39, you can check your price at etide.io/p2up (please make sure you are signed in to your Eventide account).agharta wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 4:03 pm Any news on the update price for owners of the original version?

Thanks.
Is that the intro crossgrade price or the regular crossgrade price?

Well, a bad product demo video doesn't necessarily mean a bad product. And to their credit, Eventide has removed this video from the Physion Mk II page now, and replaced it with much better videos.fairlyclose wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 8:33 amgod that is just awful - instead buy this on special and use whatever effects you want https://www.molecularbytes.com/mbcms/in ... ctransientjamcat wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 2:50 am This might be the worst product demonstration video ever.

I own Physion Mk II now either way, and it's always nice to get new plugins.
Still, I would have preferred H3000 Mk II...

Misha Native is what I look forward to the most.
Korg did it with the Wavestate etc.
Hopefully Eventide will do the same in a year or two!
The violin guitar demo in the video everyone is complaining about was really awesome (to my ears), hope to upgrade to Anthology this coming Black Friday and get Physion Mk II

expressed myself poorly, I was only meaning the demo was awful, I like the Eventide products I have and I imagine this Physion 2 is pretty good. But I also suggest people have a look at the molecularbytes offering too - no FX but very good for extracting transients / non transient which you can then process however you want. For actual transient / tonal / noise then something like IrcamLabs TS2 is pretty good as welljamcat wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 7:28 pmWell, a bad product demo video doesn't necessarily mean a bad product. Yeah, after watching the Overview, Presets, and Warren Huart videos, I'm much more excited about Physion Mk II. Seems like using it to good effect definitely requires subtly and finesse.
(But I still want H3000 Mk II)

This is what I’m getting too as someone that owns everything except this new version. Or I could pay 99usd to upgrade to Anthology XII. I think Eventide has a really lame update system and because of this I’m gonna pass on it.
