I have mine on K&M desktop mic stands at ear level, as those small rubber feet are useless at this size and can't be tilted too much with the big connectors of audio cables in place.

Totally agree about the surprisingly detail and punch. And the clarity... watching scary movies on these... wow! They're very loud indeed for their ridiculous size.

About the lack of bass, maybe try placing them closer to a wall or whatever you call a wall on a boat. I have mixed feelings about this, in my rather large untreated room the bass varies a lot depending on my listening position; there are many spots where it's unbelievable that there's no subwoofer involved (most probably low frequencies amplified by the room, but still, there's something to be amplified in the first place...).

The XLR connectors are a real PITA so I ordered some cables with right-angle connectors on eBay yesterday. The bulkhead is too far away for nearfield monitoring but after a few hours of use my brain has made the necessary adjustments to my expectation of bass, so I should be fine with them. There is definitely enough bottom end to know what's going on down there.

There is discussion around the forum of the Komplete 14 release this fall.
Looking forward to is but will not upgrade to 14 unless there is something offered that I am missing.
I have already too may plugins so have no interest in getting more unless they are a near give away prices or something new and exciting.

Almost forgot to add Studio One 6 to the Waiting for What in 2022 list?
My guess is that it will be released this October.
Really looking forward to S1-6.

I dropped Cubase as a DAW to use in any capacity.
So now it is S1-6, Reaper 6 and FL Studio 21.
Studio One has ARA so it will very likely be my primary if not my one and only DAW.
May run FLS as a plugin indie S1.

Why? What is missing or broken at the moment that is holding you back? I'm a Studio One user and I honestly can't think of anything I am less interested in than an upgrade. It's fine as it is.
