their quality is praised quite often,
but I am also not a big fan.

Arturia definitely for 'most improved' in the last decade, once of the best now for sure.
UHE for 'consistency' in technical excellence, creativity and updates over the last few decades
I think Kilohearts deserve a mention, they have given away some great free stuff and Phase Plant V2 is very good.

In terms of how often stuff gets used?

- iZotope (RX and Ozone, especially)
- IK
- Voxengo (for TEOTE alone)

I know it's fashionable to hate on the first two, but that's what I find myself actually using in completed projects the most consistently.

Yeah, much as I've been enjoying Arturia's recent stuff, comparing their varieties of compressor to the singular Molot (which is often on sale very cheap), Molot can do pretty much everything and tailored to the user's requirements. Still my favourite.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Most devs develop good plugins imo,
not every plugin can be for everyone, of course.
I couldn't name 3 devs only, I could probably name 3 plugins I often use on certain instruments

Bass, Waves RBass
Keys, Valves Audiothing, I ve also made a video
Drums, Eventide Omnipressor

1.Kilohearts - great support and team, you can directly chat with the devs
2.Image-Line - same as Kilohearts
3.Xfer - always good support when it comes to Serum

White Sea Studio.
I always thought Eventide was professional!

I was going to buy something I thought was good, but I didn't like the advert so now I won't buy it.

Genius! :hihi:

For me UAD by a long way.

Just all round excellent sounding plugins. Also generally pretty good opportunities to get good deals.

After that I have a hard time to decide but I use things from all these in most tracks

Valhalla
Eventide

Waves

Phase plant seems like it could be a great synth, but I would feel like I was missing something if I didn't have all the addins, which comes to $400

Am I missing something? it just seems very over priced to me for something that seems to sound quite neutral/modern.
