Hey!
So, in the bottom right corner there's a little button called "Stereo". Click it and it will switch to "Multi" and should automatically map all the pads to different outputs.

Is there a key combination or shortcut on keyboard to switch from slicer to colour tool and vice versa?
And can I write a velocity value manually?

Yeah. The simplest is to remain on the color tool, and then holding either a number key and clicking for a fixed slice, or ctrl/cmd and dragging the pizza up and down to slice "more" or "less"

Kinda.

you can double click the number next to velocity brush, change that and then click the slice.

I'm not really interested in this as a drum sampler but I would pay $40 for the MIDI FX version of this. It's great feeding external synths!

Well, thank you for saying that!

You can certainly use it as a MIDI FX already, and we even added a MIDI FX AU component for Logic in one of latest updates (VST and AAX has had MIDI Out as well as MIDI export since 1.0).

In terms of price, there isn't really much we can do at this point beyond the current sale price ($20 off). Hopefully we will be good enough at some point to answer for your needs!

Is it possible for an in-app update alert?
I’m on version 1.08 as that was the last email I got, but it seems there’s newer versions out.

Absolutely, I will try to get an in app notification into an update this week.

We’re trying to avoid sending too many emails unless we have a really major update, but this sounds like a nicer way to go about it,

Btw, how come Modalics wasn't covered in Sonic Talk podcast? I vaguely remember Gaz mentioning it before the release. Hmmm
