It wouldn't be that hard to add the midi state to the formula though, at least for the SLFOs. The VLFOs are a bit further away. If that's useful lets do a one-pass where we figure out all the scene info we want though so we don't have to chip it in.Chris-S wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 1:59 pm Do I see right that there is no "scenestate" object for the formular-LFO to get the scene variables like lowkey and highkey?
Is there ANY possibility to get the list of the momentary pressed keys/notes?

Indeed, and there are some other routings available too! Personally I find the one you named is the most useful generally. But the others also have their uses sometimes.

Currently the focus is on Surge VCV Rack modules (it happened kinda organically!), then SC.

I'd like to see you guys turn your attention to Dexed CLAP! Or is the Surge Team just sort of helping out a little there and not fully taking it on? Surge CLAP is excellent, hoping the same for Dexed - a nice resizable CLAP with polymod functions in Bitwig.

We aren't fully taking Dexed on, no.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sat Sep 17, 2022 12:23 amOr is the Surge Team just sort of helping out a little there and not fully taking it on?
I don't know, we won't be the ones implementing them for Cardinal, at the very least.

Since they're already on the Cardinal candidate list, and the license is compatible, the developers are waiting on the Surge VCV modules being v2 ready. My guess is, that they will be implemented soon after.Danilo Villanova wrote: Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:44 amCool! The current surge modules have been in v2 since the day of the v2 library launch. For a collection of reasons those modules aren't that popular and aren't that useful, and our redesign is addressing those issues both on a ux and dsp basis.
As we did with the SurgeXT VST, we will have a *new* module set (called "SurgeXT rack") which you can use side by side in the library with Surge if you want, to keep old patches working and not require us to have module compatibility.

Nope, license is apparently not compatible. From Cardinal README:
"All included modules are open-source and have a GPLv3+ compatible license. (GPLv3-only modules are not allowed)"
Surge modules are GPLv3, not GPLv3+.
So I guess that answers that.

We are all GPLv3+. The "+" just means "or later version" which all our licenses include.

Oh, well alright. Wasn't aware of that distinction!
