No, the full version does 1,260 amp combinations. AmpliTube LE does 9 amp combinations. That would be one of the main differences. I think that the ad in the guitar mag just has a picture of AT LE's GUI but it isn't saying "AmpliTube LE has 1200 amp combinations" specifically. It's just one of the pieces of the AT line being shown that's all. But, to be clear, that is what the full version can do.
9 amp combinations with the elements of a Vox, a Marshall and a Mesa Boogie is pretty powerful though.
I like to say it like this. Do you want several top quality modeled amps, a volume and wah pedal and a tuner for $79? Get AmpliTube Live/LE! What I think is great about it is that it appeals to more than just pro guitar players. Every level of guitar player or keyboardist, producer, songwriter that wants tube amp sound in their production can get it and it isn't cost prohibitive. Even the real casual guitarist would love this.

So basically LE and Live are like having a virtual Vox, Marshall and Mesa Boogie amp, with 3 channels (clean, crunch and lead). Plus each amp has the usual EQ and presence. Plus wah, delay, reverb and distortion. And a tuner and noise gate.
I notice that the clean channel is very quiet. I have tried switching from lead to clean and I can barely hear it. What is that all about?
I can use epointz yes?
Can you explain the different number of presets in the Live vs. LE versions. Why are they different? Are they totally different and can LE load Live presets etc.??
If I purchase can I download it or do I have to wait for the box to arrive?

Yup.
I find repetition to be the key in getting through.

Oh I see. Between Live and LE. Well, it's pretty much the same. I'll have to look into the different presets thing and get back to you on that one.

Squids,
Could there be a download version, just like on the amplitube site? Just to take shipping costs down.

Pity, since they have that on the IK site. That would have been the bargain of my life. Discount + Epointz+ exchange rate and no shipping costs. too many boxes already hereSquids wrote:No download version at the moment. But, there is a nice new box!
