i've been using sonalksis's 'creative filter' plugin for years, and happy with it.

then i updated (to 3.2.0), and now it won't validate in logic pro. i emailed the developer... and am waiting for help.

anyone else have an issue? or is there a similar plugin to try? just need to do simple filter sweeps sometimes (not often!) but often enough

IMHO Sonalksis Creative Filter (and the other Creative plugins) are unique and nothing sounds like them.

I used Logic for... decades... since it was CLAB Notator c 1987. But a few years ago I switch to Reaper because I was tired of Logic not working well with 3rd party plugins, long broken plugin rescanning, limited MIDI support, etc. Horrible plop of software. So, I understand your pain. Hope it gets sorted..

my pain? this is one plugin, in years; one issue. all my other 3rd-party plugins are fine, (even running the ventura betas). logic (for me) is a great app; i earn my living with it, and love working with it.

will get this sorted, just as anyone, on any DAW, with any issue, gets things sorted

My mistake. I got it for free and it seems it was a time limited promotion.

kilohearts nonlinear filter is my go to for filtering with a bit of flavour. It's in the free bundle

not sure what day that was... but creative filter works beautifully here (when it works, of course), and i use it often...

What happened to Sonalksis? They just got bored or something? Seemed like they stopped doing their thing back when they were still quite popular, so I doubt it was a revenue thing.

never heard back (or, to be fair... not yet). but playing around with logic's built-in 'auto filter', and i can get what i need from that. so basically, problem solved
