Voxengo plugins: any fans?

Thanks. The controversy was fruitful to my project: GitHub stars rose from 39 to 173 in a few days only. My discovery isn't "insane" for a lot of intelligent people (I had many conversations about it so far).

I don't know what exactly is going on but I just wanted to let you know I have had schizoaffective disorder for just over 30 years now. It is for sure nothing to ashamed of. Things are a lot different now than they were 30 years ago too. Back then there was a lot less understanding.

edit: I just saw your diagnosis, so really similar to mine.

It's funny, the reply from psychiatry authority was on my request to change the diagnosis to "schizoaffective disorder" exactly. I know psychiatry better than them. No, they stick to the worst diagnosis.

Just take care of yourself. get enough sleep is probably most important. Sounds like you have had this a long time as well so I guess you know the drill.

Things changed a lot recently. I can get enough sleep in just 3 hours, believe it or not. The problem is not in the length of the sleep, it's the problem in the brains and probably various "bugs" in it. Hopefully, I've finally debugged myself.

I love his god math thing and his premium membership thing looks awesome, although it weirds me out that it's called a "membership" which makes me feel like I'm not getting permanent licenses if I buy it. But the text seems to state that the licenses are permanent, so I might buy it soon.

Yes, the product licenses obtained via Premium Membership are permanent. I could call it Premium Account, but I think it's the same thing since when you register an account you become a member of the website I think?

I had higher education courses in math and EE, but that all was brief. My education is actually "information systems in chemistry-forestry complex" (intermediate of Bachelors and Masters, since Russia had a different non-Bologne educational system). But of course, that's just a base. DSP and computer programming are fully self-learnt areas.

Oh, well, thanks for your support (those who support). The "questionable" thing I've published on GitHub is what it is, cincerely and from the heart, I do not regret it. Also, there was no "security incident", it was my paranoia. Unfortunately, sometimes, but rarely I become sick, it was so for 11 years straight, and nobody noticed until I made a confession myself (after those well-known global events). I've recently also removed all featured artist pages as to not harm anyone's reputation.

What illness do you have?

I'm officially a paranoid schizophrenic, and had severe psychoses which I remember well. These were shifts into another consciousness levels, but nobody will believe that anyway.

You can have a proof and a bit of discussion at "slightly schizo level". One of my works did raise as high as a discussion about official inclusion into Scipy.

I see. You are not alone when comes to mental health. I also have mental health issues. Also as far as i know schizophrenia is highly treatable.

Obvious fan of Voxengo here, I purchased several of Voxengo products and was sometimes tempted by the Premium membership. Elephant, Boogex, TEOTE, SPAN get much uses, and I'm probably missing a lot.

Encountering the Elephant limiter 3 or 4, 14 years ago, was a career-defining move, I wasn't understanding how it was possible to be so far ahead of other limiters at the time (note: and Elephant was improved until now!). I went to my friend home and immediately demonstrated a -4dB reduction. It's like there was some sort of secret craft going on with some plugins

So.. in the end I became a bit of a creepy admirer, the sort that wants more information. Voxengo is quite open with innovations. I think this made the paranoia and discomfort worse at times, that was not my intent and I'm sorry if that was the case.
