I collab with a friend and I always spend at least half an hour just decluttering his mess. I can't work like that.

As soon as you cable something in or out of the mix channel itself, Reason doesn't seem to like it. It's not "forbidden", though. And the charm of all the cabling possible in Reason

Exactly. If you need proof it just take a glance at any other DAW's forum threads. Its a common complaint about almost any modern DAW. Unfortunately we've begged for more and more features over the years and we got exactly what we asked for... A bunch of software's filled to the brim with anything and everything we can imagine. Reason in particular to me feels much less cluttered than some others I use but I also acknowledge that clutter can mean different things to different people. Regardless, the fact that we can basically have an entire recording studio inside of a single piece of these days makes us a pretty lucky generation.

It's imminent. Reason Studios promised VST3 support would arrive in Reason 12 before the end of the year. That said, it could be tomorrow or it could be December 31st at 11:59 PM. I'd wager M1 support will be after that.

That roadmap is from over a year ago. They've made some updates since then (they've had VST 3 working in Reason since June 2022, according to their June blog post):

Having fixed the issues in Reason 12, we are now working full throttle on VST3 support. Our VST3 hosting can already load and play instruments and effects, but many refinements are left, and we are expecting it to reach your hands end of year.
