Hi All,
Delighted to announce our collaboration with Fabric London with our new convolution reverb plugin "FABRICVERB" which will be coming out very soon!
We recorded sine sweeps in all 3 rooms on all 3 systems and users can click around 21 points within the club. It sounds epic. You can check out demo sounds and the design on our website https://www.vegas-audio.com/fabricverb
We also have an early test video on Youtube for you to check out
We welcome and appreciate your feedback and support as always!
Many thanks!
Wilson

I'm interested, but what would you say it's useful for? I used to go to Fabric a lot in 2002-2005, is it still the same soundsystem?

Sounds like it'd be good for recreating the sound of when you're outside the venue waiting to be let in, but without the risk of the bouncer discovering your stashSpring Goose wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 10:44 am I'm interested, but what would you say it's useful for?

Its a really nice sounding reverb to get that industrial style sound with a fantastic bottom end... perfect for House & Dnb...particularly drums
The test is on 50% Wet just to really show the sound of the reverb but most people will use a touch of it I suspect..like any other reverb

Other thread wasn't merged but I'm generous so I'll suggest again that it requires a "blood bag" parameter. Otherwise, I'm guessing that these are just empty rooms that have been captured.

Not sure what you mean about blood bags but yes rooms were empty but we ran sine sweeps through each sound system so not the same as just popping a balloon in a large room

In live sound, human bodies are sometimes affectionately referred to as "blood bags" because this is essentially what they are when considering their acoustic absorptive properties. Therefore, EQ considerations are made when setting up prior to a venue filling with people.vegasaudio wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 7:29 pm Not sure what you mean about blood bags but yes rooms were empty but we ran sine sweeps through each sound system so not the same as just popping a balloon in a large room
If there were a parameter that could model roughly how full the room is with people, that would be an interesting feature for such a plugin - and something always missing in IRs from clubs.
Nice to see a club that I know turned into a plugin though.

I guess the GUI was designed for people still running their monitors at 720p. At inbetween 2K and 4K I can't even read any text on my 4K 32" monitor much less make out the "floor plan" imagery. Fuzzy red on a black background was a poor design choice. It's unfortunate. All that effort only to be let down by poor graphic design choices. Can't even resize it to my knowledge (another faux-pas).
