Hi Guys,
How many Diva (or Repro) instances your recent CPU can run in the same project ?
AMD 5700 or above
Intel i5 12600 or above
don't forget to indicate your DAW, CPU (and ram), max of Diva (or Repro) instances

It highly depends on the kind of sound Diva is playing.
What's the benefit in knowing that you can play 200 Diva instances playing a sequence of a one oscillator sawtooth patch with no amp release time? 200 Diva instances playing complex pad sounds will melt your CPU in any case.
Better check DAWbench results.

I have an M1-Pro MBP and using a Diva Pad in divine mode with 4 voice polyphony I added like 40 instances all playing at once and it didn't max out.Kokoala wrote: Fri Sep 23, 2022 6:34 pm Hi Guys,

It's useful to know these things. It mostly can point out the power of your computer VS others. It gives you a rough idea of how it will perform with Diva, but Diva does much better for instance in Bitwig than Live, yet Reaktor Blocks kills Bitwig the same as Live, and Reaktor does much better in the old school DAWs like Reaper, DP, Cubase etc. than what those DAWs can do with Diva percentage wise compared to Bitwig.
Basically, it's a good test for your computer as an audio workstation VS others, but not cross platform, DAW, or plug in. Like chk071 mentions, it doesn't take much variation to skew the results.

Since I got my I9 I don't even think about stuff like this. I never run into any sort of bottleneck.
