This is a start of an indie tongue in cheek comedy drama series one of my buddies is producing about a gigging guitarist in search of thee ultimate pedal and other cliche gear to find his holy grail tone in hopes of it one day making him rich and famous. I’m sure you can all relate. Warning, dry music gear humor and innuendos.

RX or Acon on the dialogue would really bring up the quality.

That flanger has like 6 too many knobs for me personally but holy crap did that sound good. And I don't really like flangers. The form factor is a little larger than I'd otherwise wish too but damn that sound was great.

The compressor is listed at £229, pre-order. Looks like the pedals are through-hole components and made in the USA.

The PRS pedals seems pretty nice, but there are other pedals in the same vein that I find more interesting (IMO) and would rather have over them. Maybe I'd grab the compressor though.
In other pedal news: this pedal is pretty excellent IMO.

You got yours?pekbro wrote: Thu Oct 13, 2022 10:32 pm The CB Generation Loss V2 is very excellent. Though I mostly only like it on guitar so far.

I’m still pretending I don’t want one.

Did you end up getting this?pekbro wrote: Fri Sep 16, 2022 12:39 am A pretty cool tape effect pedal, seems like. I'll probably buy one at some point.

Not yet, that ones still on my list. I had already ordered the CB pedal before I learned of that one.Uncle E wrote: Thu Oct 13, 2022 11:13 pmDid you end up getting this?pekbro wrote: Fri Sep 16, 2022 12:39 am A pretty cool tape effect pedal, seems like. I'll probably buy one at some point.

Still exploring the CB pedal, but I think they are pretty different from each other. The CB pedal is
more tape saturation, less tape special effects. Though there is a short tape stop on the CB pedal
and the wow and flutter can be highly exaggerated, also there's the failure knob for glitches. Still,
it's not really that heavy on the mechanical simulations, like the ribbons or the Tensor.
*The CB pedal has like 12 different tape machine models in it as well.

That's amazing. It doesn't sound good on synths? Hopefully they'll just turn the entire pedal into a plugin some day.

I'm sure it sounds great on synths, I did try it on a mono bass synth, and liked it. Mostly though, I just want to play clean guitar through it and not much else. So far, I haven't been able to remove it from my pedal board to try it on any other synths tbh.

Alright, I put this together to do some synth tests... Probably will alternate with the Telharmonic
and the NE LIP as it (Telharmonic), goes nice with the Black Corp stuff.
OXIONE for sequencing...
