Looks vintage in that color. It sounds great, everyone agrees.
If I wanted four drum machines I would get (a blue or orange) one just for the sound.
I haven't been experimenting much lately because super busy so it would be unused too much.
In fact just today I finally connected the eowave swarm to the fusion box

Seems After Later Audio have set a line up of Mutable clones ready to roll out in the next few months.
tbh I prefer their narrower clone designs, but I imagine there’ll be a few takers of the more faithful modules.
Their own, AFAIK, new COCO (Create your Own Complex Oscillator) modules look more intriguing to me
especially the wavefolder

I'm glad someone's stepping up to make full sized clones. Razor should sell well because Blades seems to be super in demand now, at least judging by ModWiggler. I like what they did with Rings having separate LEDs instead of single RGB LEDs for the modes, but am surprised they went back to a Blend knob for Clouds.
Someone still needs to build a Stages, but apparently there are issues sourcing the parts (surprise surprise).
As for COCO, I'm looking forward to a proper demo/walkthrough that explains it a bit better, because that video's pretty unclear. It seems a bit odd at the moment, e.g. putting track and sync controls for oscillators onto the wavefolder module. I'm not sure I like that... but still curious to hear it in action.

Nice!
I just paid for the case, circuit boards and parts for the Buchla Music Easel clone I'll be building. The case I ordered has 4 extra spaces, so I gotta decide which other modules I'd like to put in there.

I figured I'd best pick-up the 281t while I can, as it has always seemed (to me) to be very intuitive, and immediate, and since parts availability is such an unpredictable/unforeseeable issue. The price is more than reasonable (imo) for what it is/does, as well. I also got another one of these (NOS) to put next to it.

Yep! I’m hoping to finish it by the end of the year but I usually have more time for DIY projects during the summer. I’m really stoked though!Shabdahbriah wrote: Tue Sep 20, 2022 1:42 amOh, cool for you!justin3am wrote: Mon Sep 19, 2022 5:01 pm Nice!

I've thought about it, but (looks over at half a dozen "projects" that are all screaming, "ME!, ME!, m.a.k.e Meeeee!!!") (cough)

I’ve probably bought this as much because of what it looks like as anything else

really want the matching vcf/vca to go with it, but I’ll wait for one to be on sale/second hand like the DCO

I went for a Cosmotronic Peradam. Some complex distortion with several places to inject CV or other audio. I like what I heard in demos and got it for a bit under $200 from Juno.

Picked up Beads (thank you, Vurt). I haven't done anything great with it yet, but at the moment, I'm just exploring and having fun.
I didn't know about the internal sounds before buying, but it turns out they're fun, and nothing wrong with more sound sources.
And Tango has Zoomies. I guess he thought taking a picture without him in it was strange, so he invited himself over to fix that.
