That is a shame. I hate when web sites aren't maintained. Glad I got it when I did. There is still an eval version on their site, not sure what the limitations are, but could be worth a look.

Toward physical modeling, the imagine synth from expressivee is pretty good.
https://www.expressivee.com/63-imagine
From authenticity’s sake i guess your are better of with samples+modeling but physical modeling allows you to broaden the spectrum quite a lot outside the range of instruments we have in the natural world. It just depends on what you want.

FYI
I was looking for some authentic Asian instruments. Authenticity was important.
I finally landed on the bamboo dreams library from Sample Magic as it provides a very authentic and deeply sampled package which pretty much covers all you ll need towards Asian flutes with both solo instruments and ensembles.
https://neovst.com/product/bamboo-dreams/
I liked three body tech too, but with currently 57% off, the package from Sample Magic gives you a lot more bang for your buck. (20 instruments for the price of 1,5 at Three body tech).
Towards complementing the flutes : As for Guzheng, Koto, i reckon the free instruments that have been posted here will do the trick. I ll start off with these.
I also adore the Evolution series. But the Sample Magic library has that real authentic timbre in the bamboo flutes while the Dizi of the evolution series sounded not so different from a Western recorder. So i didn t go for that. But i might pick up the Erhu from the Evolution series to complement the rest. At 30 bucks it is also very good value for money. His bowed string and cello are lovely too. Lovely samples here.
The World suite 2 from UVI seemed nice but you are going for volume here (LOTS of instruments but not deeply sampled). I just wanted a specific selection of instruments but with a lot of authenticity.
Maybe someone can benefit from that info.

UVI world suite 2 is good, has a wide range of instruments
Eduardo Tarilonte on Bestservice has some more focused ethnic instrument content. Celtic ERA 2 which is great for irish/scottish instruments. "Medieval Legends" has older european/arabic instruments. Dark Era has some good viking instruments. There is also a Persian specific package.
There are tons of single instrument VSTi/packages, just depends on what you are looking for.

Roland Zenology has many world music sound packs that are pretty good.
You can get a lot of world music instrument sounds from AAS too.
Mostly from chromophone and string studio physical modeled synths.
There are many world instrument sounds with apple logic, main stage and garageband. If you have a mac computer.

World suite 2 is on sale now... not big sales though... 25%....
What do you think? Still good value?
I am essentially looking to bring World vibe to mostly electronic music...
And preferably ethnic voices.

A little update as topic starter: Bought UVI World Suite 2, Eastwest RA, Best Service Ethno World 6 Complete and The Amazonic AMA 1. Like them all, except AMA 1.
I do not make World Music, but use the instruments a lot. Till now I still like my NI and Omnisphere World instruments best

That MOTU Ethno Instrument is ancient. It must be 20 to 25 years old. Of course, that doesn't mean it necessarily sounds bad. If memory serves me, that library and plugin were developed by UVI. MOTU and UVI used to have something of a partnership. UVI developed the "Mach 5" software sampler for MOTU which eventually became UVI's Falcon.peterdh wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 9:35 pm Found a new one: MOTU Ethno Instrument 2 https://motu.com/products/software/ethno/body.html . And bump.

I bought the new World Fury of SamplLogic (€150) for $60 https://audioplugin.deals/product/world ... ple-logic/ at Audio Plugin Deals. They give an extra 20% on stuff that already is on sale with code TREAT20.

I've been checking this one out for a bit. Not sure if the sale is still on at intro price$49 $79, but even that price has been keeping me from jumping on it since it seems geared for only that. And I don't see any opinions on the forum.
