Have you tried redownloading them? Not sure where the auth is included, possibly it’s in the instrument itself, in which case an old one would still say it needs auth, and a more recent version wouldn’t..

You did, but there's a decent chance there'll be another in less than a yeararkmabat wrote: Sun Sep 25, 2022 1:53 pm Oh shoot, did I miss Play4Life?
I just discovered the JD-800 (I know the sound but didn't know the synth) and was hoping to grab it cheaper than $150.

I think Brian said "during the holidays". I'm also waiting for that.

My play4life won’t even be over and I’ll trip for another two lifetime keys. Loving the RC.
Still, does anybody know which if any of the TR8s models is the same as the RC 808? Asked Brian but no response.

I hope higher res GUIs are coming. The plugins look a bit pixellated on my 4k display.
And the Circuit Mod to the other ACB plugs

The RC version of the TR-808 uses Advanced Circuit Behaviour (ACB), but the TR-8S is supposedly ACB modelling of a load of the TR drum machines (including the 808) plus samples. I don't know if there's an exact match between the kits used in each.perpetual3 wrote: Sun Sep 25, 2022 3:19 pm My play4life won’t even be over and I’ll trip for another two lifetime keys. Thanks for responding. Yes, I have the 8s too but you can load patterns and apparently projects from the DAW to the 8s and vice versa so I want to keep parity when I use the 808.

Hi I am new here and have not seen if it has already been explained.
How can you use the fantom 8 internal sequencer to sequence using zenology pro sounds and sound packs without a lifetime key?

I made a Tom Sawyer sweep on the Jupiter 8 Model Expansion, and setting the condition to around 80 led to a beautiful cascade of resonance as the individual envelopes for each voice decayed at different rates. Thick.
Can't do that with the ACB Jupiter 8. With condition maxed out the envelopes all decay at the same rate. Maybe that's the same as the original Jupiter 8. Can't bemoan the lack of expanded parameters on an accurate emulation I guess. I just yearn for more imperfection.

Yeah Zenology can get nice and loose, but tonality wise it kind of falls flat against the ACB and Arturia emulations.
I made a Sawyer sweep on the Jupiter 4 and added some chorus to compensate for the lack of a 2nd oscillator, and it sounds enormous. Circuit Mod is such a game changer to ACB!
