Hi all,
This is a free 2.8 gb soundfont which has, i think, some good instruments in it
I usually use "sf2 splitter" software to extract single instruments from one file soundfonts, but it doesn't work this time, probably because of its size.
Could somebody familliar with editing soundfonts do this splitting, with an other software ?
Thanks !

Have you tried Extreme Sample Converter, converting from SF2 to SFZ and then by hand splitting the programs (shouldn't be too terribly hard, though a bit tedious)?
That's if nobody comes up with a simpler solution.

Most of these massive multi-instrument soundfonts are people bundling smaller soundfonts together, so try looking for the originals?
For this one specifically, that is stated to be the case...

If you want to use this SF2 in your music projects, I recommend to check the "sources" folder where specifies the sources of each presets (the ones that aren't listed recycle samples from other presets). Please support the original creators!

Thanks to you both for trying to help !
No i haven't, but i am a disaster at dealing with software, even the most simple ones !
"Sf2 splitter" is perfect for me, but it didn't work this time.
Actually, i remember having used it successfully with big soundfonts, so i am pretty sure that this NeoGm is "locked" somehow, intentionally or not, i don't know.
As for the sources, i checked, and nearly all the instruments come from older commercial vst's which have been sampled by private persons, and googling a little, i don't see any of those available anywhere.
