Personally can’t think of single one…

12.2.9 has improved multi-threading and users are reporting significant performance increases even in old machines. M1 and VST3 still not supported, but it’s really working nicely on my old machine.

For M1 it now runs significantly better under Rosetta than before. I might be misreading what they meant, but the release notes are suggesting Reason was previously prioritizing the efficiency cores instead of the performance cores. If true that would help explain the terrible performance we've been seeing up until now.

SUPPORT ???!!!

Post

VST3 still not supported, promised on the road map at the start of the year...I really think they have lost the plot.
I just don't use Reason as a DAW now as all my VSTS are VST3...it's just a rack device for me.
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

But, Hey, Reasonstudios have just released an update to Companion app.
Problem is, that it breaks automatic login with Reason, so we are back to square one :dog:
Still no VST 3 and NO AS native support… Maybe in 2015

Any good free VST3 wrapper to use on the meantime? Waves StudioRack crashed Reason for me yesterday and I lost my work 😡

Try Kushview Element. It has been known to crash too, but seems plugin dependent.
