I am trying to figure out how to switch between MPE instruments loaded on tracks in Ableton/Cubase when using GeoShred during a live performance. I can do this using the user interface by setting the input on only the required track to geoshred(studiomux) controller. But is there a way to do this without touching the UI, maybe using some MIDI messages? Also, I want to avoid any method that leads to notes being dropped off (fx, reverbs abruptly stopping, etc.) when changing sounds. Also, it is not important to only use geoshred to switch between tracks. I can use a separate midi controller to send midi messages.
I have mentioned Ableton and Cubase because I am evaluating both in terms of MPE support / workflow etc.

In case it is not clear, yes, you can assign MIDI to the Chain Selector.

I do it with playing style… No single bends on chords…
