I’m out too, but also very happy it was for something in which I have very little interest.
haha, i can relate to that. not again a thing of beauty that you want to buy (and use! mainly use).

not that this will be a great fx rack, the bode filter in VM sounds already great, great!

and the vocoder, well i have the arturia one... but it is still Mark Barton coding...

but i like to see modules, not instruments, but strangely i ended up with 6, i think (yes 6, one free), CA instruments. because of pricing errors, rewards, and MPE... one i shall never use, i guess.. the others, well.., must program to look if they can deliver what i want, the PS-20, i can take now as is, with MPE, it is fun. (and oversampling....)

A bundle of seven effect plugins is the departure. Usually it's just one plugin at a lower price.

I'm mildly tempted while at the same time mildly pleased that it's priced out of impulse-buy range.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Look at their Stardust tape echo, that's one lone effect and it's $19.99 on their site atm.

This is a collection.

I've never used the hardware before, so this is not an impluse buy for me at $99.99, but I can see this being interesting for those that are looking for those particular fx.

Glad they have done something a bit different but unfortunately the string filter is the only module that interests me. Have alternatives for the others.

agreed. separate purchases would be best imo, as off the top of my head, no need for a vocoder (don't use the ones i have) and im sure if i looked there would be others, i like to choose my own effects racks. i don't even use channel strips, for this reason.

not so much a complaint as an observation.

Possibly. But depends on how you look at it.
Cherry Audio is introducing the entire Rackmode Signal Processors bundle at an unheard-of price of $99, less than $13 per plugin!
Windows 10 and too many plugins

i agree with that observation, it has something of RRP (Reason Rack Plugin), perhaps it is a framework that can be extendeed, like RRP..

i have channel strips, not many, but mostly i want indeed choose the effects i need (and sometimes things come in a bundle so much cheaper, or in the end cheaper... so you get effects, you didn't choose, but strangely use... with Melda that happens, well it is Melda.. or Komplete...).

so i don't know if it is a framework, that you can add more, it is bit like VM, but another framework (java + C++ (for VM, C++ is more a 'shell'... it does more... but still) against C++, and no ProcessSample() 48.000 times per second..).

i don't even know if you can load one or two, or rearrange them...

indeed, nothing tempting for an impulse buy.

still great, i think, as mentioned, the coding will be good. the VM900, that i have for VM, well, woopsie wow (like the VM2500....)...

EDIT: but the vocoder as a module in VM for $13, or $20, or....

well, i always consider the sale price, the real price, i only buy not in sale, when it has no sale, ever..
or buy sometimes before a great price drop, if i want something that badly.

Yes you can load any of the ones you want, they are all separate plugins.

worst case: download the demo, take it for a spin!

Maybe they should have gone with a SoundToys approach where there's a rack plugin but you can also buy the individual modules separately.

ah, that changes what i said a little then :tu:
will have to have a closer look now, thought it was just a load the rack! so didn't look further.
