M-Audio Oxygen Pro or something else?

So i want a keyboard to connect to my 1010music Blackbox. I'd like to have auto-chord (press 1 key to make a full chord) and also the scale functionality like on the Oxygen Pro (where you can "lock" a scale so you can never press a key and it happens to be out of scale).
Does anyone know if it transfers this correctly over regular MIDI Out or is it perhaps some USB midi functionality? Would suck to receive it and then it will just send a normal key out instead of e.g full chord when pressing one key. Maybe the synth it sends to needs some special specification to receive it?
Suggestions for other controllers with this functionality is appreciated too! Thanks.

Just for your info: That's possible with software, and won't need a specific feature on the keyboard. Unless you want to connect your keyboard to a hardware synth, and not a computer, of course.bemushroomed wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:08 am So i want a keyboard to connect to my 1010music Blackbox. And regarding your question: The Oxygen Pro should be fine, especially for the price, there's not much competition. The Novation Impulse perhaps, but, that one doesn't have onboard auto-chord feature.

1010music is hardware sample player/sampler, so the Oxygen Pro needs to be able to send it via regular midi to it.chk071 wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:10 am

Ah... I overlooked that.
Well, I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that the chords are transmitted over MIDI out as well, as it will be a keyboard internal feature.
I.e., I don't think there's a difference between the MIDI messages sent out via MIDI out or USB.
