This is crazy that even as soon as I try to turn off UVI device, or delete it, in Ableton - it crashes as well! That means I'm stuck in my project and I have to start a clean one and start reimporting all my 60 tracks in the project - minus the UVI one.

Crazy, it's not a bug anymore, it's a scam, a ransomware!

Okay I went step by step in deleting the devices of the track, I deleted all the EQs compressors etc. first only to leave UVI Falcon and delete it then.

It seems that https://maxforlive.com/library/device/6382/midi-wheels was the issue, since I run it by default in all my Midi tracks in front of every plugin (to manage the Midi automation of my tracks, instead of having to go in Clip view).

Hopefully this was the only reason UVI keeps crashing in Ableton. Will follow up on this.

Still, a shame Falcon is unable to deal with a Midi plugin without crashing (if this is the actual reason).

I had issues in Logic until this update, now everything has been good in Logic (native mode) and Tracktion (rosetta).
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

Yes thanks - me too everything seemed much better with the latest update and actually it could well be, the constant crashes could be caused by the fact I run a Midi device by default in every Live Midi Track. Still double checking this. If this is the reason, I can live with that, even though it's annoying since Ableton doesn't have a Midi/Modwheel view outside of Clip view (which I never use) for Midi signal automation in arrangement view.

Related to this issue ? It happens as well on song reload

I still think this is a Live issue rather than an issue in the Juce wrapper.

Working fine on my Apple Silicon MBP M1Max.

Nice update. The TEXTURE oscillator is really nice and works perfectly with my NOIZE samples - https://newloops.com/collections/uvi-falcon-expansions

Not too long I hope - metal support is cool

One other really minor thing, which is minor, but since I haven't really dug into falcon programming yet, using it to understand a little:

On the new texture presets, if I click 'modwheel', the preset stops responding to notes outside of C4-C5 (everything gets remapped into that range). Unclicking doesn't help. Using the preset immediately after loading responds normally. Obviously a little weird for basses :) Even just going into the script seems to trigger this behaviour. I am on M1 Mac, with the latest update, running under live 11.2 M1 native... any ideas?

More investigation: if I open any preset (tried with a couple Devinity presets, go to Edit, everything fine. Then click on a note in the keyboard - now it's clamped to C4-C5 again.

Also, I also have Logic, so I tried it there as well - no issues in Logic, works fine, this appears to be limited to Ableton Live. I did try both 11.2 and 10.1.3 (I have both installed for a few things that only work in Rosetta and/or live 10 - alchemy, liquid music, BFD, jamstix) and both had the same issue, so it doesn't look like a recent break.

For this there are ways around it (just don't do those two things :) when used as a preset player, but maybe it affects other things too.

Will see if the Juce guys find the issue.

Just checked in Ableton Live 11.2 and it works fine here on Intel and M1. Don't know what to say.
It's only limited in the UI or MIDI keyboard as well ?

Ok, let me try some other things. I don’t have a midi keyboard hooked up at the moment, but it acts the same way from the (computer) keyboard to midi.
