Damn, this sounds really good from that demo video at least.
I don't own punish because it's iLok. It looks like this Isn't iLok, which means there a good chance of me buying it based off that video, (pending a demo of course!), but $100 is too steep. I'll keep an eye on it if it goes on sale. If I got a discount for owning some of their libraries (not just Punish) I'd think about it getting it.

So the demos do sound really, really good. I just got Punish lite for free, it's also really really good. I don't love the U.I though and it's clear that the full version would be way more versatile, you lose a lot of low end with the free one for example. (Free version because I had recently signed up the loop masters cloud thing, I think it was just a trial even)
Anyway, after getting Punish Lite I can get Fury for $79 I think. That's something to think about. The full Punish plugin at $200 though is just too much. Though I really do think what I'm hearing is quite special.
I've been on the hunt for a truly great distortion plugin for months, and I've found a lot of really good stuff, but in the end I what I'm looking for is something really easy to use that does something like "subtle but obvious". That's what punish lite sounds like to me, you can hear it if you listen, and It adds some aggression, but not nasty harshness. When you turn up the dial you just get a hotter more intense sound with some audible break-up on the kick, but not enough to be detrimental at milder settings.
Another important thing, it seems to increase the stereo difference, a lot of distortion plugins I've tried sound very static in the stereo field, or if they have an option to do something with the stereo image it's too obvious.

That’s where I landed: don’t need what it does because I already can get that done and more - but with an array of tools. People just starting out with plugins should definitely consider it.simon.a.billington wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 11:55 am I looks and sounds great, I just have alot of other plugins that do a similar thing.

Absolutely, Heavyocity makes good products. I have a few of their libraries. They currently have another sale and I've been eying off their Symphonic Destruction.vitocorleone123 wrote: Thu Nov 03, 2022 2:50 amThat’s where I landed: don’t need what it does because I already can get that done and more - but with an array of tools. The same comes as no surprise though, we are getting awfully close Black Friday Sales.

anyone knows how this is compared to Arturia's Coldfire. Fury is on sale for around 50 bucks atm.
