GREG HOWE PACK
Hello everyone,
Overloud Audio Tools has released the new Greg Howe Pack.
The pack includes:
DV Little GH 250 Tube Clean Signature head
DV Little GH 250 Tube Lead Signature head
Mr. Howe Plexi head
2x12 DV 212 Greg Howe Signature cabinet
CM Plexiphone overdrive pedal
in addition to 4 amps, 5 cabs and 12 effects including overdrive, compressor, delay and modulation pedals.
I've bought this pack and I think is a must have for any rock-fusion guitarist.

Let me know if you like it :D

Nice playing on Sunny!

As a standalone the pack is pretty nice if you're a Greg Howe fan, you really get the whole Suite of GH-centric amps and pedals in one pack. If you already have TH-U Premium though, you're hardly getting anything from this. They do offer an additional discount (€39/€59 instead of €59/€99) but it's still expensive. The Plexitone is probably the main addition, the DV Little GH 250 is hardly worth it if you already have the Maragold and the "Mr. Howe" Plexi is a Plexi... there are several models already in there.

I would probably still buy it if they had put more effort into the 'iconic tones' part just to explore their creation, but it's only 12 presets and they're pretty basic - and frankly of arguable accuracy. Why not a few rig captures? It just seems lackluster.

Overloud product development strikes me as all over the place right now. As a customer I don't know what to look at. They have TH-U, they have standalone TH-U based packs that partially overlap with TH-U Premium (sometimes massively), SuperCab with IR-Libraries that are partially in TH-U but not entirely, Rig Libraries than run in TH-U but are amp captures not sims like the other presets, regular rig presets (I don't even know that to call them now that the captures are called "rigs"). Then reverbs that are sometimes in TH-U but also available standalone.

There's a lot of good stuff there but it's just... all over the place.
