Designed Experimental Sound Library

A free library of weird, noisy and abstract sounds, sequences and samples.
The source material used for this collection ranges from foley and environmental sounds, electronic devices to designed sounds from software and hardware synthesizers, mangled through several sound degrading effect techniques like Lo-FI, stuttering, glitch and granular synthesis. The very experimental nature of this library invites to be applied on any kind of electronic music, sound design and production of soundtracks for games and movies.

Content:
• 20 designed, experimental sounds, noises and sequences
• Wave PCM 48.0 kHz 24 bit
• Wave PCM 48.0 kHz 24 bit with embedded loop points (for integration in software plugins, samplers and synthesizers)
• Download size 652 MB

Available now for free at https://audiovoltage.com/apparatus/

Please let me know what you think. If you like the sounds and there is enough interest, I will definitely record and upload more content.

First of all, thank you very much!

That's 20 superbly produced wavs that could play in some kind of
mechanized science fiction world, and even serve as a permanent
background thanks to "looping".

Also your artwork is particularly successful: very fitting - and even
inspiring for science-like stories or songs!

I have one small note - if you allow: In order to use disk space
sparingly and prudently, it could be advantageous to always offer
samples in 16-bit. It's also better not to artificially inflate the
download size: Smaller is better! Just a thought.

Anyway, thank you for these great samples!

Thanks Andy, I really appreciate your feedback

Yes, you are right. I will include additional formats with lower sample rates in the next update, so that you can choose which one to keep on your drive!
