It has this. If you create a one bar section in the arranger and duplicate it, it updates all the copies when update the notes.

It could b visually a bit clearer though.

I guess you mean clip looping, which only works for consecutive runs of clips. Not the same thing as alias clips.

Is this something people need?

You can't just create an empty scene and drag the midi part to one of the channels?

Do this with 100 midi clips one after the other and you know why this is needed... :tu:

Studio One lacks flexible parameter modulation aka "modulators" Bitwig style.
Reaper has it, but rather on the basic side.

LMAO. Totally agree.

"Notifications for Nothing" are annoying. Blocking me in return is a good way to avoid this.

To be completely honest ARA support is so much better with Melodyne, you can use it with any DAW really, but it’s cumbersome at best without ARA support.

A good portion of DAWs allow for some sort of dummy clip that can be used to modulate a plug in automation parameter, it’s just not as easy or flexible as Bitwigs purpose built modulators.

The Logic Step Sequencer is a midi drum editor.

It‘s not comparable to the ones in Cubase or S1 and really cumbersome to use.

REAPER - non-destructive swing

Reason - clip looping/ghosting

These are easily the biggest pain points for me, making something that should be quick and fun into something slow and awkward.

Post

Retrospective midi record -> Bitwig & Reason.

Possibility to change the automatic pen - eraser combo in S1

Post

Step recording mode from midi keybard -> Bitwig & Reason.

Cubase, Studio One and Cakewalk Sonar have had this for years.
