It just came out today. I tested on the masterbus of an acoustic track. I like the richness that it brings to the lower mids but there's also a bit of a high end boost that I couldn't seem to get rid of by tweaking. it seems like the u17 would be great for darker material where you don't have to worry about it bringing out sibilance. I was only using about 1 db of GR slow attack and med release. As it stands I can't seeing using higher than a 40% mix on the masterbus because of the highs. I'm sure I would use it more if I could find a way to roll back the high end boost.

I really like it, but I don't really see a high end boost by default when trying it on a few things (either by my ears/phones or by analyser). I haven't exactly exhaustively tested it through, mainly mashing up some drums so far.
Is this caused by the clipper or adjusting the tilt filter do you think? If you turn those things off, and just use the comp, are you still seeing this boost?

Yes, it was using the comp only, roughly 1db of GR. It's not an EQ boost, it's a boost in the upper harmonics that's causing the perception of increased highs. It probably would better suited as a track/bus compressor, although I could see the highs adding up if used on multiple tracks. The mix knob helps a bit.beely wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:06 pm I really like it, but I don't really see a high end boost by default when trying it on a few things (either by my ears/phones or by analyser). Very nice for an alternative vintage sound, as opposed to an RS124, a 176 or a STA-Level, as an example. It's always good to have a few options.

What DAW are you using? In Cubase the VST3 presets are visible in the browser built into the header that displays with every plugin.DanKoz wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 12:12 am Do you have presets in this plugin? Because after installing the plugin, they are missing. Can you advise me on how to add these presets possibly?

Thanks for the intercourse. I started in this way that the preset installed in the catalog "Common" and not where they are read. I just copied it all and now I know how to turn it on and what the possibilities can be achieved
Thank you!

Haha I don't think anyone is offended that just was a very giggle-worthy translation error
