I like Phonec, Bazille, and Thorn. But there’s a bunch to explore. There’s a pdf guide to the included plugins.kPere wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 12:51 pmOh, great - any favourites in there?Danilo Villanova wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:45 am All CM plugins and samples are now free to download through Filezilo:

From the FAQ:Bojo34 wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 12:56 pm Is this really legit? The download says Trail, I loaded up a synth and it says nothing about any limitations.
To improve both user experience and the general performance of FileSilo we have now opened up assets to all users, across all titles!

The FAQ says it's open to all 'users' but doesn't define that. Just buyers of the magazines or anyone who has use of the files...? Without any controls it's open season anyway so down to personal 'ethical' beliefs at the moment.PTV wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 7:23 pm The question is what Computer Music Magazine has to say about it, without an official permission from CM I wouldn't touch it.
Out of curiosity I've pinged them an email asking this so will post their reply.

It does seem like an odd change of position by Future Publishing Limited. File Silo and Computer Music are under the same corporate umbrella. For years they have hidden those magware extras behind a sort of paywall, and not just CM but also FutureMusic.

I assumed they'd be licensing restrictions, maybe a dev could say "here's a CM/cutdown version of my plug on the undertanding you don't just give it away publically, only to buyers of the mag" etc.kidslow wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 7:47 pm It does seem like an odd change of position by Future Publishing Limited. Does that mean ZebraCM is available for everyone now? That is such a good free(ish) plugin.

I like more and more what BPB is doing, free yet pro features,
latest addition: Dirty L4 (LA2A/LA3A + saturation).

Parallel mode does the LA2A/LA3A trick.
