A difficult question. I enjoy so many parts of it. Editing and mixing might be my favourite parts, I like to focus on details. But I also enjoy recording others, as mixing and editing tend be lonely parts of the process.

Depends how you define making music.
I haven’t composed with a DAW for some time now (lost my production muse) but PLAYING, both my bass and keys, is an absolute pleasure. Music right now only exists in the moment in which I am lost within it, and that’s in performance.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

The fun of putting different musical takes together and creating something that sounds pleasing.
And sometimes even just being able to recreate a sound in my head, or a beat that actually grooves is enough satisfaction already.
