Wampler, the guitar pedal maker, recently released their Metaverse delay pedal but they've also got a VST3/AU plugin for each algorithm. That's 11 delay plugins for $49 (regular price). There are builds for Windows as well as Intel Macs and native Apple Silicon.
What's the catch? There's no demo. But if you buy the hardware, you get the algorithms for free. I'm looking for a multi-delay plugin, so there's some real appeal here, even if it's just to demo the hardware, but then I've just spent $49 on something I'd otherwise have gotten for free. So I'm not sure I'll take the plunge sight unheard.
But others may be interested so here you go...

Hm, no room for pedals on my floor, but I also seem to have nearly every delay plugin known to mankind. Should I add these as well? Of course!

You can download the plugin. But they don't actually do anything to the audio until you enter a serial number. I tried.jinotsuh wrote: Sat Jul 30, 2022 3:37 am There seems to be demo's, up the top where it says Download - Windows - Mac?

So if I understand it correctly, for every delay algorithm there is a separate plugin? That doesn’t seem very user friendly, would be much more useful to have one plugin in which you can switch between all the algorithms (like ValhallaDelay etc). Especially if the plugins seem to have the same GUI and similar controls.

Seems to be the way they do it. I don't know where but I have three of the modules in plugin for from my Terraform and they are also separate plugins. Nice if they released them all.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Jul 31, 2022 7:33 pmYeah, agree. Must have somehow been easier? Delay seems to be so easy and straightforward but it isn't. After decades I still haven't found the
"perfect" delay that does all that I want with an easily accessible interface. So I'm curious about this one too.

If they are 1:1 with the pedal, they should be really cool. I'm tempted !!!

I downloaded last night, there is an option now to select a 7 day trial, however it seems to count down in instances of use, not days. Should be enough to see whether you like the sound. I think it sounds pretty good, but I have never used the pedal.
