Hi there,

I have got some waveforms that I want to loop for a soundfont each wave is a sax note, and they are too short to leave unlooped.

Using the autolooper in Awave there are several options to choose though:

1. Create "normal loop (sustain + release loop)
OR
2. Create loop w. 'sampled release' (sustain loop)

Which one should I use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That depends what you want to hear.

If you want the sounds of those flappy bits flapping back over the holes use 2.

OPtion 1 will just fade the loop.

So option 2 will sustain the sound till I let go of the key and then will play the last portion of the sample right?
