64 bit Mac equivalents to 32 bit Windows Classics

Glaceverb is similarish to Airwindows take on the Midiverb algo. Has that same cold, modal ambience to it, but i forgot the name of it Edit: it's called MV

Kjaerhus Classic Comp alternative could be the compressor upwards expander in Soundhacks bundle(think its 64bit now)i find it equally transparent with an open attack..failing that, checkout the free version of TDR's Kotelnikov. The Classic Compressor never struck me as a character comp, hence my suggestions are leaning towards the more cleaner options. For Airwindows you might wanna checkout Buttercomp. Doesn't do the exact same thing as Classic Comp, but it is similarly transparent in its gain reduction action

Never tried that Cakewalk plugin, but it sounds like Airwindows NC-17 would fit the bill. That plugin does exactly what you describe and is equally stupid, and grungy if ya looking for that sort of thing

[thread-nec] Tried MV, does nothing similar to Glaceverb. Glaceverb can be cold, can also be warm, depending on parameters and preset. Can't find a 64-bit equivalent

Try to record an IR of glaceverb and load it into any convolution verb…

Nah, there's too many presets and I'd need to tweak the parameters anyway.

Update: tried jbridge, works with glaceverb and SIR v1. (host: waveform)
