Good work on this! Tried it out and I like it a lot.
I think I've found a bug with the key following. I've been sending in the same MIDI arpeggio over and over to test out the pitched delay lines and key-following filters.
Getting some great sounds that way! But occasionally it will start playing a completely different notes than the ones I'm sending it. Usually higher notes, but the up/down pattern is weird too, it's not just transposed. The keyboard visual in the modulation section still shows the correct MIDI notes lighting up, but those are not the notes being played. Even more strangely, the delay lines keep tuning themselves to those wrong notes even when I un-assign the keyfollow modulator from them completely. The only way I found to fix this was to save the preset, remove the plugin, load a new instance and load the preset again.
It happened a few times, always with lots of key-follow assignments handed out. And this is with MTS-ESP tuning applied.

Maybe send us a mail to our support team about this: https://u-he.com/support/#contact
There we can ask for more details, so we can find out together if there is a problem.

The feedback value after choosing the "init" function is 50; by double clicking it the values goes to 25.
Is it intended that the "init" settings don't have feedback set to its default value?
MFM 2.5 VST2 on REAPER 6 x64, Windows 10 Pro.
Thanks,
Mario

That's ok. The init preset is just a starting point for creating your own presets.
It doesn't necessarily have to set each and every parameter to its default value.

Hi Urs, looks good and would like to pick it up when I’m next paid.
When does the current €99 pricing stop?

€99 is the new price. It was €79 prior to the official release. So no pressure to buy at this point.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Tue Sep 13, 2022 4:11 pm Hi Urs, looks good and would like to pick it up when I’m next paid.

Sonicstate's recent video on MFM by Nick was pretty good, I thought. He gets some lovely sounds out of his rig while demoing MFM, worth a watch - though I'm not sure it entirely demystifies the full complexities of MFM (not that it's trying to, of course.)

Heads up if you have a Bitwig licence you can get 25% off all u-he right now until 31st October. Login to your account to see a one time use code.
I'd been waiting on payday to pick up MFM 2 and just got it with that discount. Been playing around with it for the last couple of hours, it's very moreish. So far a slightly tweaked version of the Sidewinder preset (slower with less amplitude) is my favourite.

Another vote for a quad/surround version of MFM (and anything else u-he makes)! MFM would be the perfect live-performance tool for quad shows.Urs wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 12:44 pmI can't promise anything just yet, but we'll be working on multi-output things - in general, not specifically for MFM2 - in the near future.dreamvoid wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 4:20 am The new GUI is fantastic. It makes all the features much more accessible. Thank you for this great update. One wish though: could you implement a Quad output channel version for surround work?

Use two MFMs and let the chips fall where they may.trevormeier wrote: Wed Oct 26, 2022 4:34 pmAnother vote for a quad/surround version of MFM (and anything else u-he makes)!
